Social Media Specialist

Acelab is the all-in-one building materials hub for the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industry. Acelab streamlines material selection, comparison and management for architects and engineers with AI-powered product recommendations. Conversely, Acelab empowers building material suppliers and manufacturers to unlock specification growth by providing them a strategic Go-to-Market channel to accelerate their product adoption.

As our Social Media Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in pushing the architecture industry forward alongside Acelab. You’ll curate, strategize, and develop creative campaigns that drive conversation, explore tech and architecture, and educate architects across North America. We’re looking for someone that pays attention to detail, so add a note about your favorite food in your application. 

Requirements

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with our Marketing, Material Research, and Product team on campaigns like feature launches, material education, and user acquisition
• Curate content from our platform, events, educational resources, and partnerships for social media
• Design compelling and relevant content through creation and editing of videos, captions, and graphics
• Own social media scheduling, coordination, and development
• Strategize and optimize content delivery for maximum reach and engagement
• Engage with followers in Acelab’s brand voice
• Analyze and report on channel performance

What you'll bring:

• 2+ years experience in building growth and engagement on social media channels like Instagram and LinkedIn
• A passion for exploring the intersection of tech and architecture
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Experience in graphic design and working with brand kits
• Strong interest in social media and proven track record of content creation
• Self-starter mentality with oodles of initiative
• Familiarity with video and graphics editing software, including Canva and Adobe
