About the Role

We are seeking a freelance social media producer for an international multimedia news and media non-profit organization. The Producer will be responsible for daily content development, including creating social media content like vertical videos, user-generated content, and photography. This position reports directly to the CEO.

• Independently manage and execute content creation and social media strategy.
• Create and schedule 3-4 social media posts per week.
• Pitch and produce social-first series for social media.
• Support planning and project management for content initiatives.

Requirements

• B.A. in Journalism or related field.
• 2+ years of content creation production experience.
• 2+ years of content development for Gen-Z and Millennial demographics.
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools.
• Knowledge of social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Strong interest in viral marketing and social media trends.
• Experience with analytics and listening tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills.
