About the Role
We are seeking a Social Media Manager for travel and leisure company. The Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s social media presence. This role involves developing and executing social media strategies to maximise engagement, drive direct bookings, and enhance brand visibility. The Social Media Manager will create and manage content across various platforms, analyse performance metrics, and continuously optimise strategies to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop Social Media Strategy: Create a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s goals and target audience.
- Content Management: Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, videos, and advertisements.
- Community Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with the company’s audience by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
- Marketing Funnel Development: Build a marketing funnel that guides social media followers through the customer journey, from awareness to conversion.
- Performance Analysis and Optimisation: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
