About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Music/Social Media Marketing Consultant to provide expert guidance and support in promoting the launch of a singer-songwriter's debut EP. This is a project-based opportunity with the potential for additional work. The successful candidate will work remotely and collaborate closely with the client to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, leveraging social media platforms and industry best practices to effectively promote the EP and build a strong fanbase.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough analysis of the client's existing online presence, target audience, and market landscape.
- Develop a comprehensive social media marketing strategy tailored to the client's goals and target audience.
- Create engaging content, including video, audio, and written materials, to promote the EP and connect with fans.
- Manage and optimize social media channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter) to build and nurture a dedicated fanbase.
- Implement effective promotional campaigns and tactics, such as influencer collaborations, targeted advertising, and fan engagement activities.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to the client.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, platforms, and best practices in music and social media marketing.
- Provide guidance and recommendations for continuous improvement and growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in music and/or social media marketing, with a strong track record of successful campaigns.
- Excellent understanding of various social media platforms, including their algorithms, best practices, and analytics.
- Strong creative skills and the ability to develop compelling content tailored to the target audience.
- Proficiency in content creation tools and social media management software.
- Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data and metrics to optimize campaigns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the client.
- Familiarity with the music industry landscape and trends.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Availability for potential follow-up projects or ongoing support.
