Position Overview:

The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our clients by serving as their primary point of contact.  Working closely with the Head of SEO, the Head of Fulfillment, our designers, developers, and other internal teams, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, understanding their goals, and coordinating the delivery of our SEO and digital marketing services.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through an abundance of communication and exceptional service.
  • Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Understand clients' business objectives and develop tailored strategies to meet their SEO and digital marketing needs and drive real results.
  • Coordinate the execution of SEO and digital marketing campaigns, including keyword research, content strategy, and performance tracking.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients on campaign performance, highlighting key metrics and insights.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for providing additional services and solutions to clients based on their evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with the Head of SEO and other team members to continuously improve processes and enhance the client experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in SEO and digital marketing to provide strategic guidance to clients and speak confidently to Techy Scouts’ expertise in all things digital.  

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, computer science or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in account management, preferably in the digital marketing or advertising industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey complex information to clients.
  • Proven track record of outstanding customer service and delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies is preferred.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs and CRM software.  HubSpot, Basecamp, SEM Rush, Adobe suite, Shopify = major plus.
  • Proven ability to work completely independently, report to a boss dutifully, and add value to our collaborative team of loud and proud nerds!
