What You’ll Do
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering expert financial insights and solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulations.
- Conducting audits, tax planning, and filing federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Managing general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Providing strategic financial guidance to clients, including cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards, including maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to address financial queries and deliver tailored solutions.
- Staying up-to-date on tax laws, accounting standards, and industry best practices to provide expert advice.
Requirements
What You Bring
- CPA certification (active and in good standing).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a public accounting or consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, federal and state tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
