About the role 

If you are technically minded and experienced in complex software implementation projects, data mapping and interested in improving resource management for professional services firms then we’d love to hear from you.  We’re further growing our business in the US with a great pipeline of enterprise prospects, and we need to grow our customer-facing Professional Services team to support this.  We need another senior team member in the US to help onboard our new customers and develop our internal and external processes.  

You will work on implementation projects with newly signed and existing customers. We have a process for onboarding our customers that guides each project but also need you to be independent and driven, analytical and keen to learn our product. You’ll be an advocate for Dayshape, consulting and guiding customers to get the most out of our product. As a Workday partner, having previous experience implementing Workday would be beneficial.  

What you’ll do 

Work on no more than 2-3 projects at any one time, doing the following:  

  • Demo Dayshape to new and prospective customers as part of the pre-sales and onboarding project 
  • Work with the Head of Department and team leads to solution customer requirements and support the production of Statement of Works 
  • Understand a customer’s as-is process and how to onboard them to Dayshape 
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops with customers, know the right questions to ask, pick up on any areas that are unclear and dive deeper to clarify business needs early on 
  • Advise customers how Dayshape should be configured for them to have the best possible experience from Day 1, and implement that configuration 
  • Understand and build workflows for Accountancy and Professional Services firms 
  • Gather information from the customer to allow our engineering team to build the required integrations 
  • Prepare and deliver customer train the trainer training  

As a senior member of the department you will:  

  • Support the Professional Services team with technical guidance  
  • Identify areas of improvement for customers and Dayshape rollout methodology 
  • Mentor less experienced members of the team, ensuring you share your knowledge and experience and instil best practice ways of working 

About you 

  • Significant experience implementing complex SaaS and/or ERP solutions to enterprise customers, including Accountancy, Professional Services, Media Agencies or IT Consultancies 
  • Hands on experience configuring SaaS solutions and mapping data for integrations 
  • Strong customer facing skills, we need you to win their hearts and minds and hand-hold them through their Dayshape journey   
  • You will have a consultative attitude and demonstratable experience providing solutions to customers requirements 
  • The ability to contextualize the pain points in capacity planning 
  • Logical and analytical mindset 
  • Demonstrable experience learning new complex systems - we need you to learn Dayshape and stay on top of each new development, our releases happen every 6 weeks so this is always a moving target 
  • You will be great at listening 
  • Working knowledge of JSON, SQL and JavaScript  
  • We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, with boundless enthusiasm. 
  • Experience mentoring less experienced members of the team 
  • Comfortable deputizing for a Project Manager 

Bonus points if you have 

  • Experience implementing Workday 
  • Experience leading current state and future state workshops as part of the implementation project 
  • Experience producing solutions with Statement of Works or RFPs 
  • Implementation pre-sales experience

  • Starting salary $85,000 - $91,000 dependent on experience

Working Details 

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week). We’re looking for a team member in the US who can be flexible across US time zones and have an overlap with our UK team, particularly during your onboarding period. There will be travel to customer sites and the opportunity to visit our UK office in Edinburgh.
