Requirements

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with engineering teams across four countries to build a product that is performant, reliable, scalable, and visually stunning.
• Solve complex problems and deliver elegant solutions to our customers and app users, spanning multiple engineers and product managers.
• Architect and implement features for our iPaaS and automation products, workflow orchestration, and analytics engine, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
• Tackle big infrastructure and engineering challenges, such as building, debugging, and managing queues, scheduling jobs, mapping data across different APIs, and handling errors.
• Develop infrastructure and internal tooling to manage extremely high transaction volumes, with thousands of executions per minute.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth by both teaching and learning from your peers, providing constructive feedback, and embracing feedback to further your own development.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and disseminate knowledge across all areas of our platform.

Skills & Experience We're Excited About:

• Over 10 years of relevant software engineering experience, specializing in building web applications at scale with expertise in Node, React, Typescript, JavaScript, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in navigating complex platform architectures interfacing with 200+ APIs, demonstrating a readiness for significant infrastructure and engineering challenges.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions, coupled with proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting techniques for resolving production system issues.
• Strong understanding of back-end development concepts, including server-side architecture, design patterns, software development best practices, APIs, databases, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Experience in running production systems, including deployment, monitoring, and debugging, with a focus on optimizing code, enhancing performance, and improving system scalability and reliability.
• Knowledgeable about the importance of security in software development, with an understanding of common security vulnerabilities and best practices for mitigation.
