What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Retail Analyst, you will lead efforts to review and resolve retail suppliers' deductions within the Target ecosystem, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and maximum financial recovery for our clients. You will develop and implement strategies for deduction recovery, focusing on Target-specific challenges while reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. Your role will involve acting as a Target subject matter expert providing strategic insights and identifying opportunities to expand our services to our client base.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes to categorize and dispute Target chargebacks and deductions
- Create efficient procedures for gathering required information and disputing Target-specific deductions
- Formulate strategies to allocate resources effectively, prioritizing deductions with high recovery potential
- Coordinate efforts across departments (including Sales and Customer Experience) to enhance our services and meet client needs
- Organize and provide training and direction for various teams and team members to aid in scalability and implementation
- Participate in occasional client calls to provide expert insights on Target-related issues
- Stay informed about changes in Target's policies and the broader retail industry that may impact our clients, products, and workflows
Requirements
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience supporting Target and/or their suppliers preferably with experience resolving chargebacks or deductions
- Highly organized and able to ensure progress on multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with Target's Partners Online portal and Synergy application
- Proven track record in developing and implementing new processes
- Experience in creating process documentation and training materials for team use
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with broader retail industry trends, practices, and challenges
