About the Role

A fashion accessory company, specialising in innovative designs, is seeking a senior product designer to enhance and expand an existing product line. This role offers an opportunity to work on an established accessory, improving its design and developing new variations. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and technical expertise to elevate the product's appeal and functionality. This position is part of an ongoing project with potential for long-term collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse the existing fashion accessory design and identify areas for improvement
• Develop design concepts to enhance the product's aesthetics, functionality, and marketability
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing
• Collaborate with the company founder to align designs with the brand's vision and market positioning

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior product designer, preferably in the fashion or accessories industry
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful product designs and improvements
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and CAD software relevant to fashion accessory design
• Excellent understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production constraints in fashion accessories
