About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced senior music producer with expertise in Japanese music styles to work on the original score for their independent film project. The project is expected to last for approximately one week, with the potential for additional work in the future. The producer will work remotely and be responsible for creating music that aligns with the client's reference styles.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the client to understand the creative vision, themes, and emotional tone of the film project.
- Research and immerse yourself in the specific Japanese music styles and references provided by the client.
- Compose and produce original music that seamlessly integrates with the film's visuals and narrative.
- Incorporate the client's feedback and make necessary adjustments to the musical compositions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a music producer, with a strong focus on Japanese music genres and styles.
- Proven track record of composing and producing original music for film, television, or other multimedia projects.
- Excellent understanding of traditional Japanese musical instruments, harmonies, and compositional techniques.
- Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively with the client throughout the project.
