About the Role
A prestigious production company is seeking an expert Motion Graphic Designer for an exciting feature film project. This long-term, remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile cinematic production. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and creativity to elevate the visual storytelling through sophisticated motion graphics.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise and create high-end motion graphics that enhance the narrative and visual appeal of the feature film
- Collaborate closely with the film's director, visual effects team, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive design integration
- Develop and animate complex graphical elements, including title sequences, on-screen displays, and visual effects
- Create storyboards and style frames to effectively communicate design concepts
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Motion Graphic Designer in the film or high-end video production industry
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional motion graphics work, preferably including examples from feature films or similar large-scale projects
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and other relevant tools
- Solid understanding of cinematography, color theory, and typography as they relate to motion design
