Full Job Description

Our Home is a snacking company that is passionate about providing delicious, plant-based snacks with clean labels and easily recognizable ingredients. Our goal is to offer a trusted family of brands that deliver more of what our customers love, want, and need.  

In this position, you will be responsible for bringing to life our “One Team, One Culture” strategic priority by developing and executing with excellence initiatives across our ~200 remote corporate employees and ~700 manufacturing employees.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams, People Operations and the Leadership Team to understand the roots of the existing Our Home culture and help develop the vision for the future.  In parallel, you will activate a best-in-class internal communications strategy to ensure the Our Home community is always connected to the most important topics that need to be shared.   

We are looking for a high energy candidate with a proven track record in this field who can work independently and embrace an entrepreneurial environment where resources are lean but freedom to put your stamp on the business is prevalent. Experience of establishing a positive culture in a remote working environment and within manufacturing facilities will also help.  This role is new and represents the heightened importance the company is putting around culture, so the role comes with significant exposure to the leadership team. In this fast-growing, ever-changing company, you will need to oscillate between building the strategic vision with key leaders and operationally executing on the “shopfloor.”   

The role reports to the Chief Administrative Officer – a member of the Leadership Team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an ongoing listening program across the company to understand the Our-Home culture and internal communications needs 
  • Develop culture vision along with key business leaders and a roadmap for short- and long-term execution that is signed off by the Leadership Team 
  • Identify and coordinate with change-makers across the company the execution of the roadmap and get personally involved in ensuring excellence 
  • Develop KPIs for measuring progress of cultural activation and report back to the leadership team accordingly 
  • Utilize opportunities to bring the culture vision to life at in-person company connections such as Sales Meetings and All Hands events 
  • Develop a vision for Internal Communications and a roadmap for short-and long-term execution 
  • Operationally execute with excellence the internal communications roadmap across all Corporate and Manufacturing employees 
  • Work closely with the Executive Committee, the President of Our Home and the Leadership Team to ensure internal messaging is consistent and conveys the strategic priorities of the company 
  • Develop KPIs for measuring progress of internal communications and report back to the leadership team accordingly 
  • Play a critical role in welcoming new employees into the company as they are integrated following M&A activity 

Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree  
    • 6+ years of experience in people orientated role 
    • High energy and passion for shifting culture to a new level 
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills across all levels of the business 
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
    • Experience developing long term strategic vision 
    • Creative dexterity to build solutions throughout the business
