Vasion is looking for a Sr. Manager of Events and Field Marketing that exemplifies our core values and wants to be part of our growing team. The Sr. Manager of Events and Field Marketing will play a key role in Vasion’s go-to-market strategy and will be an integral part to the Field Sales’ Top of Funnel (TOFU) efforts. This leader will need to be a strategic thinker who can develop and execute events and field marketing programs to drive brand awareness and generate demand in targeted regions, industries, and verticals. As a Sr. Manager of Events and Field Marketing, you will attend tradeshows, conferences, and events frequently. Lastly, you will be expected to collaborate often with multiple teams, departments, and company divisions to ensure successful campaigns and events that align with business goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall event strategy, including promotional events, identifying key conferences and tradeshows, and setting performance and campaign targets.
- Effectively provide strategic insight to Sales on the appropriate event marketing activities for the various stages of the sales cycle: lead generation, opportunity creation and deal movement, and deal close
- Work closely with the Channel and Alliance teams on event activation, creating cohesive processes to meet aggressive pipeline goals.
- Lead, coach, and develop a highly effective and productive Events & Field Marketing team while exemplifying the core values of the company.
- Establish metrics defining event performance, increasing returns on investment, and ensure event success through frequent attendance.
- Manage the planning, logistics, contracting, invoicing, budgeting, and merchandise for promotional events.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, and Sales teams to align strategies and goals for the Field Marketing team.
- Utilize CRM systems to track and manage sales activities, maintain accurate conference records, and report progress to management regularly.
- Continually drive process improvements and regularly seek out team and stakeholder feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance field marketing strategies.
- Achieve or exceed both challenging personal and team goals and daily activity targets.
- Own all team hiring needs and provide exceptional onboarding experience for any new team members.
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to the Field Marketing team, setting expectations, managing performance, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 6+ years experience in Events and/or Field Marketing in SaaS-driven companies, B2B environments, or similar industries and fields.
- 2+ years experience as a manager of people, leading employees and teams
- Experience using Salesforce CRM software
- Experience with at least one of the following Data Enrichment and Email Sequencing tools: ZoomInfo, Apollo, 6Sense, or LeadIQ, and, Outreach, SalesLoft, Gong Engage, or Groove
- Ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time to attend tradeshows, conferences, and events
