Senior Generative AI Engineer

Procurement Sciences, Inc is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Generative AI Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Generative AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative AI solutions to advance our procurement processes. Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and deploy generative AI models to improve procurement strategies and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and design AI solutions that align with company goals.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of generative AI to ensure the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies.
• Prototype, test, and validate AI models, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency in real-world scenarios.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior AI engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Utilize machine learning techniques to analyze data and provide insights that drive actionable improvements in procurement processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate AI algorithms into existing systems and platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or applicable work/industry experience. (Master's or Ph.D. preferred)
• Minimum of a year of hands-on experience in developing and deploying generative AI models & products in a professional setting and 3 years minimum of non-AI/ML experience. Experience in Generative AI (Transformers, LLMs, Mixture of Experts style models, etc) is a must.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and JavaScript/Typescript
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and deep neural networks.
• Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure (preferred) or AWS
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment with strong communication skills

• Additional consideration given to candidates who demonstrate understanding or have experience in Government Contracting, the IC, and/or the DIB
