Senior Frontend (Nextjs, Supabase) Engineer for Gen AI

Procurement Sciences, Inc is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in Next.js and Supabase to join our Gen AI team. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage generative AI technology to revolutionize the procurement industry. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing user interfaces that provide our customers with highly intuitive and seamless experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement user-friendly interfaces using Next.js and Supabase to enable seamless interactions with our generative AI platforms.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and responsiveness across different devices and platforms.
• Identify and address usability and accessibility issues, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance and support.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend components with backend systems and APIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development with expertise in Next.js (preferred, or React) and Supabase (a plus, not a requirement).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles, ensuring seamless experiences across different devices and screen sizes.
• Solid understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Playwright).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex frontend issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with generative AI technologies and a passion for applying AI to real-world challenges is a plus.
• Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js and databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) is a plus.
