The Senior Financial Analyst at The Willows Communications is a vital member of the finance team, responsible for providing insightful financial analyses and recommendations that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role involves preparing detailed financial models, forecasting budgets, and analyzing financial performance to drive growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develops comprehensive financial models to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Analyzes financial data and trends, preparing reports to convey insights and support management decisions.
  • Prepares quarterly and annual budgets, collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate and achievable financial targets.
  • Conducts variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial goals.
  • Provides analytical support for business initiatives, investments, and capital expenditures to assess their financial viability.
  • Participates in the preparation of financial presentations for stakeholders, effectively communicating key financial metrics and strategies.
  • Monitors financial performance indicators, ensuring that all financial activities are in line with company objectives.
  • Collaborates with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stays informed about industry trends and benchmarks to provide a competitive analysis and strategic insights.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in maintaining The Willows Communications' financial health and supporting the organization’s mission and goals.

Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s Degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related fields.
    • Strong understanding of financial principles, modeling techniques, and data analysis methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of interpreting complex financial data.
    • Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting, with advanced skills in Excel and financial software.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to distill complex information for diverse audiences.
