Full Job Description
Luminary Group is partnering with a leading life science company to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Epidemiologist with expertise in Real World Evidence (RWE) to join their client in the United States. As a Senior Epidemiologist, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and analysis of epidemiological studies using real-world data to generate meaningful evidence and insights.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct epidemiological research studies focused on real-world evidence (RWE) to address scientific questions and support evidence-based decision making.
- Develop and implement study protocols, including data collection procedures and statistical analysis plans.
- Analyze complex real-world datasets using appropriate statistical methods and data mining techniques.
- Ensure quality, integrity, and compliance of epidemiological studies and analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate epidemiological findings into broader evidence generation initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in epidemiology, real-world evidence, and healthcare data.
- Communicate epidemiological findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and publications.
- Provide epidemiological expertise and support in regulatory interactions and submissions.
- Contribute to the development and review of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and scientific publications.
- Collaborate with external partners and experts to enhance epidemiologic research capabilities.
Requirements
- PhD in epidemiology, public health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in epidemiology, with a focus on real-world evidence (RWE).
- Strong knowledge and experience in designing and conducting epidemiological research studies.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software, such as SAS, R, or Python.
- Experience working with large healthcare databases and real-world data sources.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to epidemiology and RWE in the United States.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide innovative epidemiological solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex epidemiological concepts to diverse audiences.
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals is preferred.
- Experience in oncology or other therapeutic areas is a plus.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
