Full Job Description
The Senior DevOps Administrator will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of internal and third-party applications for TrustCommerce. Responsibilities will include maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing production software issues. Additionally, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for application-related incidents, requests, and enhancements.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned internal and third-party applications include maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing production software issues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for application-related incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Act as the primary point of contact for application-related requests and enhancements, provisioning new users as needed, updating business workflows, and modifying system configuration.
- Monitor application performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for application configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure applications comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, implementing security measures as needed.
- Provide training and support to end-users, enhancing their ability to utilize applications effectively.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and cost savings.
- Maintain and test various department system applications to ensure correct setup.
- Design, develop, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate and streamline application delivery.
- Implement and manage configuration management tools to maintain consistency across development, testing, and production environments.
- Automate routine tasks, deployments, and infrastructure changes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Participation in rotation of personnel providing 24x7 support.
Environment/Conditions
This will be fully remote. Occasional site visits may be required.
This is a full-time position. Monday to Friday. Core office hours will be 8 hours within the range of hours. Depending on assigned responsibilities or projects, some nights and weekends will be required.
Requirements
- Development/related technical expertise (preferably in an Agile/Scrum environment)
- Experience working with: PowerShell, SQL, Splunk, HTML and CSS, .NET/.NET Core applications, APIs, Git, AWS Cloud, Azure DevOps, NuGet and Microsoft Windows infrastructure
- Ability to ramp up quickly on both new technologies and existing technologies.
- Ability to think both tactically & strategically.
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent collaborative skills, with strong written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated team player who can run with a project and is willing to pitch in as needed.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or 6+ years of experience in a related position (DevOps, Systems Admin)
Preferred
- Agile Scrum experience.
- Working knowledge in Azure and Azure DevOps
- Azure Cloud Infrastructure (MSFT Entra ID, ASE, ASP, App Services/Insights, App Gateways, VM, VNET, Key Vault)
- AWS Cloud Infrastructure (Route 53, RDS, EC2, S3)
- 8 years of in focus experience preferred

Annual base salary range from $120,000 up to $150,000
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Sphere salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and be based on various factors, such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Sphere’s total compensation package for employees.
