Title: Senior Clinical Research Associate
Location: US Remote
Position: Permanent/Full-time (40 hours/week 8.30am-530pm EST)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join our innovative team. As a key contributor to our clinical science efforts, the Senior CRA will take a leadership role in the planning, execution, and oversight of clinical trials related to our pet nutritional supplements. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to shape and drive the success of our clinical research initiatives.
Your day to day will look a little bit like this…
- Provide strategic input into study protocols, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
- Assess and select appropriate clinical trial sites and investigators, considering experience, capabilities, and track record.
- Conduct site visits and provide ongoing support, mentoring, and training to site staff.
- Assist in ensuring all clinical trials adhere to regulatory requirements, including FDA guidelines and other relevant standards for animal nutritional supplement products.
- Implement advanced monitoring strategies to ensure the highest standards of data integrity and patient safety including assistance with building, testing, and implementing electronic data capture systems (e.g., Prelude ®)
- Conduct regular quality assurance assessments and provide guidance on corrective actions as needed.
- Act as a key point of contact for investigators, ensuring effective communication and resolution of study-related issues as well as obtaining supplies (e.g., collection tubes, study binders, etc.)
- Assist in the management of clinical trial budgets and resources effectively, providing input into resource allocation and cost projections.
- Mentor and train junior CRAs, providing guidance on study procedures, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
Requirements
What You Need…
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., biology, veterinary science, pharmacology) or Associate’s degree and additional certification (e.g., certified veterinary technician, certified CRA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate, with a focus on pet nutrition, pet health, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
