Using the powerful combination of a camera and the Aira app on someone’s device of choice, a professionally-trained visual interpreter (an Aira Agent) will assist by visually interpreting what is in the camera’s view or on screen, from describing to reading, from explaining to navigating – just about anything, safely and securely.

As a Senior Accountant, you'll be a cornerstone of our finance and accounting team, playing a crucial role in our corporate close process. Your expertise will guide the preparation of journal entries, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure the smooth execution of our month-end processes. We're looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with precision and a keen analytical eye.
Responsibilities:
- Process bills and review for payment in Ramp
- Review Payroll reports prior to execution of payroll run
- Management of Contractor payments
- Execute journal entries, month-end reconciliations, and utilize the reconciliation system for efficient month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Conduct in-depth account analysis to ensure accuracy and identify areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the Controller and contribute to the close process, addressing challenges associated with the management of the monthly close process
- Review monthly financials and provide variance analysis.
- Assist the Controller with updating the financial package and providing departmental budget updates.
- Assist with YE tax filings and potential audits
- Ensure Compliance with GAAP
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, demonstrating proficiency at the Senior Staff or Senior level, with a strong emphasis on successful month-end processes.
- Should possess an intuitive and numbers-focused skill set with sharp critical thinking skills.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative to move projects forward and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Excels in the ability to comprehend and produce accurate analytical data.
