About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior 3D Animator for a unique short film project. The task involves creating a two-minute 3D animated parody of a famous scene from a popular fantasy film series. This project offers an opportunity to showcase creativity and technical expertise in 3D animation, with potential for future collaborations.
Responsibilities:
- Create a high-quality, realistic 3D animation of a two-minute parody scene
- Develop character models, environments, and props based on the original scene
- Animate characters to deliver comedic timing and expressions suitable for a parody
- Implement appropriate lighting, texturing, and rendering techniques
- Collaborate with the client to refine the concept and execution of the parody
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in 3D animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating realistic character animation
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Blender)
- Excellent understanding of character rigging, motion, and expression
- Strong sense of timing and ability to convey humour through animation
