Responsibilities

As our SEL/MTSS Instructional Design Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading moozoom global instructional design, pedagogical development, and alignment with our vision to become a one-stop shop for all the district's student wellness needs. As such, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Edit or create online engaging, multi-tiered pedagogical experiences and activities aligned with school district needs.
• Design and develop all moozoom's K-12 SEL pedagogical material, including discussion guides, quizzes, journals, role plays, and keys to action.
• Collaborate with our Product team to develop new MTSS-integrated features.
• Supervise a team consisting of one full-time instructional designer and various pedagogical consultants, as needed.
• Conduct user interviews to determine the learning needs of our target audience.
• Edit or draft blogs and white papers.
• Collaborate with the Content team at all stages of the movie production development to ensure pedagogical alignment.
• Conduct pedagogical training for sales and customer success teams.
• Build processes and planification tools that will make our pedagogical department operations seamless.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in instructional design and educational technology.

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Education, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in education.
• Proven working experience in instructional design and US K12 educational technology.
• Excellent knowledge of SEL learning theories, MTSS, as well as CASEL and ASCA frameworks.
• Highly creative and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• A school counselor background is a plus.
