Security (Forensics) Analyst

As a Security (Forensics) Analyst at Pierce Technology Corp, you will be responsible for investigating and analyzing security incidents, breaches, and other cyber threats. You will play a critical role in identifying, containing, and mitigating security incidents to protect the company's assets and maintain the integrity of its systems and data.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform incident response activities, including containment, investigation, analysis, and remediation of security incidents
• Conduct forensic investigations on compromised systems and network devices
• Collect and analyze forensic evidence to identify the root cause and impact of security incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and prevent future incidents
• Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and security event information for potential threats
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and security technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Experience in incident response and handling security incidents
• Knowledge of forensic analysis tools and methodologies
• Strong understanding of network and system administration
• Experience with log analysis and SIEM solutions
• Knowledge of current cyber threats and attack techniques
• Certifications such as GIAC, EnCe, or CFCE are desirable
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
