Scrum Master

The Clark Team is seeking a dedicated and proficient Scrum Master to guide our agile teams in enhancing their performance and achieving their goals. As a Scrum Master, you will play an essential role in facilitating the adoption and implementation of Scrum practices across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. Your expertise will not only support our teams in delivering high-quality products but also empower them to maximize their potential by removing obstacles and promoting agile values. You will work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring alignment and clear communication while encouraging a strong team dynamic. Your ability to mentor teams, lead scrum ceremonies, and advocate for best practices will be key in driving successful project outcomes. Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure effective communication and progress tracking.
• Remove impediments and blockers that hinder team progress while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
• Guide teams in adopting and adhering to agile principles and practices, ensuring smooth transitions between sprints.
• Help the product owner with backlog refinement and ensure clear understanding of user stories by the team.
• Encourage team ownership of processes and encourage self-organization among team members.
• Monitor team performance metrics and provide insight for continuous improvement initiatives as well as agile maturity assessments.
• Promote a culture of open feedback and constant learning through coaching and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an agile environment.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and familiarity with other frameworks such as Kanban.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and address team needs.
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar software.
