We have a vibrant community of entrepreneurs and business owners looking for opportunities to expand their operations. We are now looking to add an experienced SBA Lending Specialist to our team to help us offer specialized SBA lending services.

About the role:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced SBA Lending Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SBA brokering, underwriting, and banking, with a strong network of direct lenders. This role involves working closely with our community to help businesses secure SBA funding for acquisitions, working capital, and other needs.

This is an hourly-based remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Assist businesses in obtaining SBA loans, including 7(a) and 504 loans, as well as the new SBA working capital loans.
• Conduct thorough underwriting and assessment of loan applications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with direct lenders and other financial institutions.
• Provide expert advice on SBA lending processes and requirements.
• Collaborate with our team to build out and offer SBA lending services to our community.
• Stay up-to-date with SBA regulations and lending practices.
• Offer strategic input on growing and managing the lending department.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SBA lending and brokering.

• Strong network of connections with direct lenders.
• In-depth knowledge of SBA underwriting and banking practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience in developing and growing lending services is a plus.
