FDF Energy Services is a leading provider of energy industry services, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a meticulous Research Data Analyst to join our team. As a Research Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our operations and projects.
In this role, you will work closely with our team to gather data from various sources, including internal databases, industry reports, and external research. You will utilize statistical techniques and software tools to analyze and visualize data, identify patterns and trends, and generate insights to support decision-making processes.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for extracting actionable insights from data. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of data analysis methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to support operational and project-related decision-making processes.
- Utilize statistical techniques and software tools to extract insights and identify patterns and trends in the data.
- Develop and maintain data models, databases, and automated dashboards to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
- Create visualizations, charts, and graphs to effectively communicate complex data findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and create data collection and analysis plans.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and data quality enhancement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and techniques.
- Experience with data modeling and database management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with large datasets and analyze complex data.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
- Understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
- Experience in the energy industry or related field is a plus.
