Role:

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is an integral member of the project team responsible for coordinating projects of varying sizes and complexity. The TPM is responsible for directing, organizing, overseeing, and controlling project activities and teams.

Major Responsibilities:

·        Plan, execute, and oversee the closure of infrastructure-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

·        Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary.

·        Allocate resources effectively, ensuring that all project requirements are met with the appropriate personnel and materials.

·        Manage the project budgets and track expenditures to maximize cost-effectiveness throughout project duration.

·        Organize and lead regular project status meetings with both clients and internal teams, to keep project on schedule and within budget while addressing any concerns or changes needed.

·        Perform proactive risk management to anticipate, mitigate, and communicate potential project risks.

·        Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance and alignment with project goals.

·        Manage and strengthen client relationships through regular, clear, and detailed written communication regarding project status, adjustments, and outcomes.

·        Develop RFPs and RFIs, bid documents, and other solicitation documents

·        Use ConnectWise to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures

·        Measure and report project performance and progress using specific tools and KPIs to stakeholders and senior management.

·        Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders

·        Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others

·        Consult with stakeholders and review project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of resources

·        Facilitate clear and timely communication across project teams and with stakeholders to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and promote transparency.

·        Champion operational efficiencies, assist with project budgeting, cost cutting, process control improvements and perform various financial analysis and reporting

·        Conduct thorough post-project evaluations to capture insights and integrate lessons learned into future projects.

Requirements

Qualifications:

·        5+ years experience

·        Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, MIS, or related field

·        Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the Information Technology Sector, specifically managing infrastructure-related projects.

·        Excellent analytical and project management skills

·        Strong knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management

·        PMP certification is a plus

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills presentation skills

·        Strong presentation skills with excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

·        Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

·        Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment

·        Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

·        Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and work comfortably under pressure

·        PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project software skills

Salary Range:
$70,000-90,000/yr
