Vacancies exist at:
Conestoga High School - 7:30-3:00
SUMMARY:
- Regular Education Paraprofessionals work on student days following T/ESD school calendar year
- Typical scheduled hours for Elementary: 8:30-4:00p / Middle School: 8:15AM - 3:15PM / High School: 7:30-3:00
- Position schedule may vary depending upon assignment
- 11 paid holidays & 7 days of paid time off (pro-rated based on start date)
- The hourly pay-rate for Regular Education Paraprofessional is $23.47 per hour
REGULAR EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides support to students in the Achievement Center in writing
- Communicates with classroom teachers on student progress
- Monitors student progress
- Plans with classroom teachers
Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPRIENCE:
- High School Diploma
- Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred
CREDENTIALING :
(Clearances current within 12 months)
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
- TB Screening - current within 3 months
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
