Registered Nurse Case Manager

Aspire Medical Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse Case Manager to provide services for Durham VA Healthcare System in Durham, NC.

Location

• Shall provide services virtually via telehealth. VA’s National TeleOncology Service is hubbed at the Durham VA Healthcare System in Durham, NC.

Schedule

National TeleOncology Business Hours: MON-FRI 0800-1630 ET Closed on weekends and closed on all Federal Holidays.

Clinic Schedule: MON-FRI variable by site and time zone. Closed on weekends and closed on all Federal Holidays.

Patients must be seen via telehealth in a timely manner in accordance with VA Rules and Regulations on clinic wait times and consult completion.

Duties

• Ensure that all incoming consults are triaged within two business days of receipt.
• Contact patients with negative results within three business days of when they are returned.
• Update the patient tracker with relevant patient information with minimal errors.
• Ensure that consults to any other service are input and read for signature.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Must specialize in genetics
• A current RN license in at least one (1) state, territory, or commonwealth in the U.S. or the District of Columbia. All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses.
• Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience
