RDP Senior Engineer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a developer who is intimately familiar with RDP (freerdp) for our engineering team to work on our hyperstream product. The candidate should to be comfortable in C and java and with network protocols like UDP. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working cross-functionally to understand requirements and reach a consensus on deliverables.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of RPD (freerdp) and the protocols
• Experience as a Full Stack Java Developer
• Ability to modify and extend code written in C
• Skilled problem solver with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions
• Willingness to adapt to quickly changing environments
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Strong knowledge of web security practices
• Passionate coder with 8+ years of software application development experience

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience working with Apache Guacamole
• Knowledge of H.264 codecs
• Expertise with front-end technologies including JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML5, CSS3, WebSockets
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and Cloud computing
