About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products by performing thorough testing and identifying potential issues before release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing to identify software issues.
- Document and report bugs clearly and concisely using tools like Jira or similar.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure requirements are met.
- Validate fixes and ensure resolved issues do not reoccur.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to QA processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development and testing processes.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Ability to write clear and concise bug reports.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing web, mobile, or desktop applications.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic understanding of automation tools or willingness to learn.
