Job Summary:
At REE, we connect Veterans with Providers in their navigation of their Disability Benefits. Our Provider Contract Specialists (PCS), also known as our provider recruiters, are responsible for identifying, contacting, and qualifying clinics and providers creating a network that is knowledgeable and convenient for our clients. Our PCS' work alongside their peers within the Medical Services Department to ensure REE Medical maintains quality providers and a excellent standard of service for our clients. PCS' are also responsible for tracking metrics, determining areas of need, and helping to facilitate change for optimal success across all of the Medical Services Department. This is a great entry level role for anyone with minimum selling, recruiting, or clinic based experience looking to grow in the medical services industry.
What is expected in this Role:
- Identifying and qualifying clinics and providers in various medical focused practices meeting demographic requirements for clients and overall REE Medical network growth.
- This can be done through proactive Boolean searches, targeted research efforts, cold calling, emailing, and other various outreach efforts. This role does require active outreach to be successful.
- Confirming contracts with various network providers and clinics ensuring successful verification of credentials per the VA guidelines and supporting the onboarding partnership before being handed off the the Provider Relations Team.
- Serving as an expert in REE Medical’s reimbursement schedule per company policies and negotiating contracts accordingly when required.
- Serving as a Point of Contact with various internal departments related to scheduling of exams and wait times for Veteran Clients.
- Serving as the external client expert in relation to scheduling of exams with REE network providers and clinics, this can include the scheduling, follow ups, communicating wait times, coordination of visitation, etc.
Requirements
What you need in this role to be successful:
- 1+ years of experience in recruiting, client experience, sales, project coordination, clinic operations, or other related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and navigating multiple platforms including Salesforce, ZoHo, Slack, Teams, etc.
- Previous experience in the medical industry is a Plus!
- Previous experience operating in a quota driven environment, reporting on daily activities is a Plus!
- Previous experience working with the Veteran community or within the VA regulations is a Plus!
- Comfortability being on the phone whether sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.
- Proactive thinking, consistently foreseeing and preparing for forthcoming challenges or opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of communicating in a remote-first environment.
- Expert level attention to detail.
- Experience in start-up or early-stage environments with little or no defined infrastructure or processes.
- Track record of working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Ability and empathy to relate to all levels both with clients and internal team members.
- Analytical and problem-solving orientation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A.S., B.A., B.S. degrees are a Plus!
