Project Manager

Responsibilities:

IT Concepts Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team of diverse technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of ITC’s team supporting our Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) client. The candidate should be skilled in managing projects and consulting and be willing to learn new things. The candidate should also have excellent written skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Additional responsibilities include assisting the contract Program Manager in producing weekly and monthly project reports and developing onboarding processes and procedures.

Location: Able to work remotely from the United States.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on IT project management experience with a complete understanding of the development lifecycle
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; must provide examples if chosen for an interview
• Experience writing requirements documents, Standard Operation Procedures, Lean Business Cases, and User Stories
• Must be willing and able to learn new things and new technologies, such as creating metrics to measure project performance and value to the organization
• Ensure all documentation complies with project management standards used by the client
• Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment
• Proven ability to communicate directly with clients and provide project updates.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective
• Willing to obtain SAFe certifications
• Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented

Must have experience with: 

• Creating MS Forms and Workflows
• Creating and modifying SharePoint websites, SharePoint lists, and MS Teams groups.
• Expert user of MS Office Suite

Preferred:

• VA Experience
• Jira experience as a user or owner of a project

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
• US Citizen
