The Project Lead is responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences, ensuring seamless project execution, and driving team performance. This role combines leadership, strategic oversight, and creative problem-solving to produce outstanding results for our clients.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Client Excellence
- Own the client relationship, ensuring clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and consistently exceeding expectations.
- Guide leads from initial inquiry to signed orders, delivering top-tier service at every step.
- Collaborate with the team to produce creative, high-quality deliverables that "wow" clients.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of 2-7 Project Managers and Curators, delegating project assignments and providing guidance on strategy, vendor selection, creative direction, margins, and installations.
- Lead one of the three project teams within the company, ensuring your team’s projects are executed at the highest level.
- Create a supportive and accountable environment that empowers team members to excel.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for resolving internal and external challenges.
Communication & Process Optimization
- Act as a conduit between Sales, Operations, and Directors to streamline project handoffs and execution.
- Monitor project progress, address roadblocks, and ensure projects remain on track.
- Collaborate with other Project Leads to identify and standardize best practices.
Additional Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Manage project margins and assess risks for budgets and contingencies.
- Curatorial Guidance: Provide creative input and review proposals (for candidates with creative expertise).
- Deliverables Management: Approve high value client-facing deliverables before submission.
Qualifications
- Management Experience: 5+ years managing teams and overseeing complex, physical projects (e.g., art, construction, events).
- Client Focused: Proven ability to build relationships and deliver top-tier client service.
- Exceptional Communicator: Skilled in negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe Suite, and Airtable (or similar tools).
- Creative Insight (Preferred): A background in creative fields is a bonus for curatorial oversight.
