Full Job Description
The Business Operations team is involved in project work as well as operational work. The Project Assistant will work collaboratively with the team on specific projects and also on operational work as part of maintenance. In this role, you will work on tasks delegated to you by the team to ensure that projects are successfully moving forward on time and operational systems are working as expected. This role involves collaboration and the ability to work on tedious tasks. You will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently.
Project Tasks Support. The Project Assistant within the Business Operations team will work with the Associate Project Manager and other Operations team members to maximize productivity. This role collaborates with the whole project team and works on tasks that contribute to the progression of the entire project lifecycle. This role also provides assistance on other project administrative tasks.
Operational Work Tasks Support. In addition to project work, this role also offers team collaboration and support for operational tasks including, but not limited to operational systems maintenance tasks (e.g., ShipMonk, Shopify, Printful, Thinkfic, Zapier, etc.). When team members are out, the Project Assistant may also be tasked with work to help with coverage.
Requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving, analysis, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving
- Able to proactively address potential issues
- Familiarity with systems such as ERP, E-Commerce, Google/Microsoft Office Suite, etc..
- Significant hands-on experience with industry-specific software
- Collaborative working style and team-player attitude
- Positive and encouraging personality
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to the team's success
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
