Installation Made Easy (“IME”) provides software and process management that enable retailers and contractors to offer installed home improvements to homeowners in a convenient, consistent, and affordable manner. IME senior management has over 100 years of retail management and home improvement industry experience.

The Program Development Manager (“PDM”) will play a pivotal role at the intersection of sales, project management, and client relations. The primary responsibility of the PDM is to drive projects across the organization to completion and to lead the development, implementation, and scaling of innovative home improvement programs. The PDM will also act as a strategic partner to our retail clients and manufacturers, driving enrollment of prospects and showcasing IME’s installation services as the premier choice in the industry.

The PDM role is highly visible and will have frequent interaction with all departments as well as senior and executive level management. 

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional with a strong background in the flooring industry. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in both product specifications and installation processes.  The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with all levels of an organization and be able to handle stressful situations with calm and grace. Additionally, the PDM should have good business sense, be confident and charismatic, and be able to apply sound judgment in complex situations. The candidate should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and be willing to travel up to 75% of the time. 

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our retail partners and affiliates, nurturing relationships and driving sales of IME's installation services. 
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our programs.
  • Produce reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, clients, and other relevant parties.
  • Work as liaison between the business and development on all new programs.
  • Maintain internal projects records and track project status.
  • Develop and execute strategies to introduce and scale new programs, leveraging insights from client interactions to drive growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to gather project requirements, track progress, and ensure smooth implementation.
  • Provide analytical insights and support to our Operations teams, helping to optimize our offerings and maximize partner satisfaction.
  • Work with retail partners and affiliates to identify and correct any software bugs.
  • Write development requirements.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing partners to provide assets and copy to marketing team for marketing email blasts.
  • Maintain regular communication with Operations teams to ensure they are informed of new programs and features.
  • Build relationships with retail partners, manufacturing partners, and affiliates through regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Analyze internal processes, identify areas for enhancement, and implement rapid improvements to drive operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Product and installation knowledge of the flooring industry 
  • Proven ability to drive sales and build lasting client relationships, with a strong understanding of installation services or related industries.
  • Proven track record of ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and to drive projects to completion.
  • Perfectionist with details
  • Ability to prepare and present clear, concise, executive presentable reports.
  • Highly motivated and capable of thriving in a remote work environment, demonstrating initiative and accountability in achieving goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying complex concepts and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools, with a focus on leveraging technology to optimize sales and operational processes.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills , with a track record of meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $80,000-$100,000 + 25% bonus potential.
