IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Program Analyst Lead to support Veterans Affairs. As a Program Analyst Lead, you lead a team that will apply advanced consulting and planning or extensive technical expertise in resolving high-visibility client initiatives. You and your team will gather, compile, and analyze source data to provide information for data driven decisions. You’ll work with program leadership to develop metrics, analysis and have daily interactions with multiple client stakeholders. You will guide junior team members and ensure projects stay on task and schedule. Additionally, you will create the tools necessary to inform the client and make recommendations for improvement to program leadership. Impact the client organization by contributing to program strategy and helping to improve delivery and measure program impact. Join us and help improve the Enterprise Monitoring and Event Management of the VA.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring high-quality project delivery, on-time execution, and professional development.
- Collect, compile, and analyze data to support strategic decision-making and provide actionable insights for clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, deliverables, and expectations.
- Develop key metrics, create reports, and provide data-driven insights to track program success and inform strategy.
- Contribute to program strategy, identify areas for optimization, and recommend improvements for enhanced client outcomes.
- Oversee project timelines and milestones, ensuring team stays on track and proactively addressing risks and issues.
- Create and maintain tools for data collection, analysis, and reporting, while continuously improving processes.
- Measure and track program impact, providing insights to clients and leadership on effectiveness and value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on program goals, share best practices, and drive successful execution.
- Stay current with industry trends and tools to inform program improvements and enhance client results.
Requirements
- Experience with project coordination, business process mapping, organizational design, and strategy
- Experience in leading teams
- Extensive IT experience in the analysis, design, and integration of information systems and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and development software.
- Must be well versed in understanding structured analysis and design methodologies for the translation of systems requirements from business needs with a proven track record.
- Must be able to evaluate cost factors and risk.
- Data SME with experience collecting and deriving meaningful conclusions/insights from large existing information data sets, implementing business processes, ability to parse large sets of data into executive reports
- Experienced Data SME with ability to translate requirements into useful data insights from an existing large pool of data
- Experience in the management consulting field, including strategy and change management, providing support to organizational leaders and stakeholders
- Represent/assist the team with flowcharting group sessions and work with leadership with short deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel with knowledge of pivot Charts and Excel Reporting capabilities.
- Experience leading small teams delivering data analysis and technical recommendations to client leadership.
- Excellent oral/written communication and the ability to multitask, adapt in a rapidly changing environment and work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, math or engineering and 5 yrs of experience or 8 additional years of experience to substitute for a Bachelor’s
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with the VA or Federal clients
- Experience with large scale IT environments
- Experience with Enterprise Monitoring
- Ability to work hours based on a Central Time Zone schedule
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust
