Full Job Description
Bodily is currently seeking a part-time Production Manager to join our Integrated Production, Supply Chain, and Quality Excellence team. This role involves managing our product production lifecycle, including oversight of raw materials, finished goods production, quality control, and logistics. You will ensure the team adheres to delivery schedules and meets product launch timelines. Responsibilities include managing relationships with factory partners, overseeing raw material orders, handling purchase orders, and ensuring stringent quality control inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Supplier Relationships: Oversee and maintain the day-to-day relationship with our factory partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Daily Communication: Foster daily conversations with factory contacts to promptly tackle any production-related challenges and promote coordination on production schedules and requirements.
- Raw Material Management: Be responsible for managing raw materials, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement to meet production needs.
- Purchase Order Management: Manage and oversee purchase orders with our factories, ensuring utmost accuracy and timely processing to support production schedules.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all apparel products meet our high standards before shipment by conducting and overseeing quality control inspections.
- Coordinate: Effectively communicate the current status of orders, raw materials, and outstanding production milestones to internal teams in a clear and efficient manner.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Production Manager.
- Experience in a dynamic and agile environment, such as a startup.
- Proficiency in using tools like Slack, Asana or equivalent project management systems, Google Sheets, and advanced Excel skills.
- Very detail-oriented and an exceptional project manager.
- Meticulous organizational skills. You have a knack for bringing order to chaos.
- Excellent communication skills required for effectively collaborating with international factories and internal teams.
- Located in the greater New York City area is preferred.
- This role does not currently have in-office requirements (subject to change).
