The Principal Business Analyst, Strategic Clients is a senior-level role that partners with our report writer to lead the creation of all client reporting, including custom reporting solutions. This role requires extensive experience in data analytics, insight generation, and solution development. The Principal Business Analyst will play a critical role in driving Scripta's project roadmap, innovating, and solving problems by leveraging data insights. Additionally, this role is pivotal in shaping external-facing communications and presentations, ensuring that data-drivencinsights are effectively communicated to clients and stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Client Reporting: Lead the creation of all client reporting, including custom reports, by partnering closely with the report writer. Ensure that all reports meet client needs, are accurate, and meet Scripta's high standards.
- Data Insights & Analytics: Analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights that drive client success and inform strategic decisions. Use these insights to identify opportunities for cost savings, improved outcomes, and innovative solutions.
- Building the Tableau Dashboards from the data lake (Scripta uses Snowflake): Ensures accurate visualization and analysis of key metrics and insights by building the dashboards and other reports from raw data.
- Roadmap Development: Collaborate with internal teams to utilize data insights in shaping Scripta's project roadmap. Contribute to the development of new products and services that address client needs and industry trends.
- Problem Solving: Use data-driven insights to solve complex client challenges in a white-space environment. Develop innovative solutions that align with client objectives and Scripta’s strategic goals.
- External Communication: Translate data insights into compelling external-facing pieces, including presentations, reports, and communications. Ensure that clients and stakeholders fully understand the value of Scripta’s offerings.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges. Provide data-driven recommendations that enhance their pharmacy benefit strategies.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and the other account team members, to ensure that data insights are effectively integrated into all aspects of Scripta’s offerings.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Health Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or a similar role, preferably in the healthcare or pharmacy benefit management industry.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful insights that drive business outcomes.
- Innovation: Experience using data to drive innovation and solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in data analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel and SQL, and data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI. Must have experience building Tableau dashboards from data lakes. Snowflake preferred.
- Client-Focused: A deep understanding of client needs and the ability to develop solutions that deliver measurable value.
