Job Description:
iSoftTek Solutions Inc is seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI and related technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data models, and create interactive visualizations and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis, visualization best practices, and a passion for delivering data-driven insights to the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decision making
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and understand data needs
- Design and implement data models and create optimized queries to extract and transform data
- Create and maintain data visualizations, interactive reports, and custom dashboards
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing Power BI solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in data visualization and business intelligence tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX
- Experience designing and implementing data models in Power BI
- Proficient in SQL and data manipulation
- Understanding of data visualization best practices and ability to create compelling visualizations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
