About the Role
A weekly global issues podcast is seeking an experienced podcast producer to join their team on a long-term, remote basis. The podcast focuses on exploring diverse perspectives on international topics and is currently in the planning and research stage. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both audio and video production to help shape and elevate the podcast's content and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the development and growth of an engaging, thought-provoking show.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of audio and video production for a weekly podcast
- Collaborate with the podcast team to plan and execute episodes
- Edit and mix audio to ensure high-quality sound
- Create visually appealing video content for the podcast
- Develop and maintain a modern, clean style that aligns with the podcast's vision
Requirements
- Proven experience as a podcast producer, preferably with shows focusing on news or global issues
- Expertise in audio editing and mixing using industry-standard software
- Proficiency in video production and editing
- Strong understanding of podcast production workflows
- Ability to work independently and remotely
