What You’ll Do:

As a technical leader, you’ll define and guide our platform’s architecture while collaborating with product, engineering, and leadership teams. Your role includes:

• Shaping and owning the platform architecture.
• Advising leadership on technical feasibility, readiness, security, and compliance.
• Driving discussions with partners like Google, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Mentoring team members on design, systems architecture, and best practices.
• Innovating to enhance scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Staying at the forefront of emerging technologies and representing the team at industry events.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• 10+ years of experience building scalable data platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS and web-scale design patterns.
• Proven success in developing product strategies, especially in startup environments.
• Experience with data platforms, ETL, pipelines, and lake house architectures.
• Bonus points for familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms like Google or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a knack for influencing change without stepping on toes.
• Experience in life sciences or biopharma is a big plus.
