About the Role

A youth-led nonprofit organisation focused on education and empowerment for marginalised youth in South Sudan is seeking an expert pitch deck designer. The organisation is preparing for an important pitching competition and needs a compelling, visually inspiring presentation to showcase their mission, future plans, and a key initiative called the Refugee Nexus Hub. This short-term project requires a highly skilled professional who can create a powerful visual narrative that will help attract support for the organisation's critical work.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the nonprofit team to understand their mission, goals, and key initiatives
• Translate complex information about education and empowerment programs into visually engaging slides
• Design a cohesive, professional pitch deck that effectively communicates the organisation's impact and vision
• Create custom graphics, charts, and infographics to illustrate key points and data
• Ensure the design aligns with the organisation's branding and appeals to potential supporters

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing pitch decks, preferably for nonprofit or social impact organizations
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual storytelling and presentation design
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, visually appealing graphics
• Experience in creating impactful presentations for fundraising or competition purposes
