About the Position:
The Account Director will join a team of performance marketers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the internal client team and client accounts, maintaining strong internal and external goals. The successful candidate will drive client success through effective account management and strong project management, showcasing their proficiency in digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, SEO tools, and other platform-specific software. This role will play a key strategic role in devising innovative approaches to tackle digital marketing challenges and deliver exceptional results for our clients. This role reports to the AVP of Client Services. The salary band for this position is from $60k-$80k.
We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work and will perform the work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor visas.
Your Impact:
- Leadership: You'll lead and inspire your account team of 2-4 to support in delivering exceptional performance marketing campaigns.
- Client Relationship Management: You’ll serve as the main point of contact for a specific vertical of clients and act as the driver of strategic performance marketing planning for established client goals.
- Platform Expertise: Your hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms will empower you to optimize campaign performance, troubleshoot issues, and innovate strategies effectively, ultimately delivering outstanding results for our clients.
- Collaboration: You'll collaborate within your cross-functional team including creative producers, media producers, and data analysts, to ensure account strategies align with clients' business goals and objectives.
- Accountability: You will take ownership of directing the daily workflow, ensuring the quality of deliverables, and guiding digital marketing strategies with the support of the Media and Creative team.
- Financial Management: You'll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and ensure accurate billing and invoicing, while also aiding in client-specific billing tasks.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: You’ll employ data to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics, optimizing campaign performance.
- Strong Data Storyteller: Your curious, analytical approach extends to leverage data to tell a performance story to clients. This is supported by data visualization.
- Generative AI: Exposure and willingness to learn and apply these concepts in real-world scenarios.
- Industry Knowledge: You'll maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices, sharing insights with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven agency experience leading an accounts team in the support and execution of performance-driven paid media that achieves outstanding results for clients. Preference for candidates with direct experience in the EDU, B2B, Financial Services, or similar verticals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of account managers and account coordinators in effective project management and client partnerships.
- Proven experience with digital marketing platforms, such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager, demonstrating proficiency in campaign management, performance optimization, and issue troubleshooting.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively convey ideas, collaborate effectively with team members and clients, and build strong relationships.
- Strong track record of building and maintaining successful client-partnerships.
- Data-driven, analytical approach to continuously evaluate effectiveness and optimizations to improve performance.
- A passion for keeping up to date on industry trends and best practices, with the ability to share insights with both internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with generative AI technologies, with a willingness to learn and apply these concepts in real-world scenarios.
