JourneyPure, a premier provider of addiction treatment and mental health services, is seeking a friendly and organized Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a Patient Services Representative at JourneyPure, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and support.
In this role, you will greet clients, assist with registration and admissions processes, and answer any questions or concerns they may have. You will also handle scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and processing payments. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to ensuring a positive and seamless experience for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Complete the registration and admissions process accurately and efficiently
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations for services
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits, coordinating with clinical staff
- Process payments, provide information on financial obligations, and assist with financial assistance applications
- Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with team members to address client needs and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or front desk role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in computer systems and software
- Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of inquiries and requests
- Empathy and compassion towards individuals seeking treatment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to privacy
