Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Partner Engineer to enhance our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the online safety of kids and teens and has some experience in the video game industry. You will act as a critical link between our product and engineering team and our clients, to understand the unique needs of each game publisher and develop a scalable integration architecture. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in system integration, strong technical skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Gain expert knowledge of our API's functionality, architecture, and stay abreast of updates and new features.
    • Collaborate closely with game publishers to comprehend their integration requirements, challenges, and objectives for child safety.
    • Translate customer needs into precise, actionable instructions for our engineering team, ensuring that the core of what the customer needs is effectively communicated and addressed.
    • Offer technical support throughout the integration process, troubleshoot any issues, and provide solutions to guarantee a smooth implementation of our technology.
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including integration guides, best practices, and FAQs, to assist our partners efficiently.
    • Conduct informative training sessions for partners to facilitate their understanding and utilization of our API for optimal child safety results.
    • Work with our product development team to relay partner feedback, influencing future product enhancements and features.
    • Maintain proactive and continuous communication with partners to ensure their satisfaction with our solutions and support.
    • Assess integration risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in integration architecture.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a partner engineering, solutions architect, or similar technical liaison role, ideally within the video game industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of web API technologies such as REST, API design principles, and best practices, including both client-to-server and server-to-server integrations.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to understand and translate customer needs into technical requirements.
    • Previous experience in the video game industry and a strong commitment to child online safety are highly preferred.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and excel in a fast-paced startup environment.
    • Knowledge of security protocols and standards (e.g., OAuth, SAML).
