About the Organization:

Cure HHT is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) and enhancing the lives of individuals and families impacted by this rare genetic disorder.  The organization currently operates on a budget of approximately $3 million and is in a rapid growth phase.

 

Position Overview:

The Salesforce (SF) Administrator is responsible for the ongoing design/configuration, support, maintenance and improvement for the organization’s database of (put size). Cure HHT primarily uses Salesforce with the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).

Cure HHT has 20+ users for the Administrator to manage and works closely with fundraising, program and marketing staff, to develop and deploy new business processes. This position plays a role in technical project management, database administration, and Salesforce analyst. The Salesforce Administrator must be 100% dedicated to our mission.

Daily, the SF Administrator will respond to questions or issues from end-users and resolve technical and functional support issues, manage data imports, work with management to design and create reports, review and analyze data, and provide training on new features and functionality to the entire Cure HHT team. In addition, the SF Administrator will work with leadership to document and implement new business processes, deploy new features, modify existing configuration, integrate new applications, interact with consulting partner, and more.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategize with team leadership to 1) determine data needed to support all decision-making systems and to help management track and measure results, 2) plan for future enhancements and address significant issues within or affecting Salesforce
  • Routine Salesforce maintenance including data hygiene and cleanup, system health checks, data backups, and removal of technical debt
  • Design and implement new configuration and features, including duplicate rules, advanced flows, user profiles, permission sets, and user-friendly lightning pages as well as NPSP features including moves management, levels, and grants management
  • Data analytics, including reports, dashboards, analytic snapshots, and Salesforce Maps
  • Manage Salesforce integrations including but not limited to Classy, Shopify, MailChimp, Twilio, and FormAssembly. Identify, install and maintain appropriate apps from the AppExchange for event management, mass email, document merge, and more.
  • Prepare and import data from a variety of outside sources
  • Create and maintain system documentation for end-users and system administration
  • Provide live support and training to new and existing end-users and grow Salesforce skillset across the organization
  • Identify, install and maintain all system releases for Salesforce, NPSP, AppExchange installations, and any integrated apps for event management, mass email, document merge and more as needed
  • Identify system issues and craft solutions
  • Document customizations in SalesForce

 

Financial Reporting

  • Collaborate with development team to enter, modify, and maintain donor opportunities
  • Create and produce monthly financial reports for accountant; clean-up records as needed
  • Create and produce monthly fundraising reports for development team and modify as needed

 

Information Technology

  • Interface with managed IT services vendor to:
    • Purchase, install, and update employee computers
    • Manage employee computer support ticket requests
    • Manage cybersecurity software, training, insurance

 

Requirements

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification; Platform App Builder Certification required or evidence of equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with two or more data import tools such as: NPSP Data Importer, Data Loader, dataloader.io, and Apsona

 

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficiency in virtual communication tools and technology for remote work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, and Google Workspace
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to effectively meet deadlines
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and data analysis
  • Ability to critically evaluate and prioritize information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and other integrated systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Reside in the United States and ability to travel to Maryland and/or attend organization events as needed (travel expenses covered)

    

Additional Experience

  • A documented history of successful project completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, processes, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality preferred.

Benefits

This is a full-time, remote position, although individuals living in Maryland are encouraged to work from the office location 2-3 days per week if possible.. Applicants must reside in the United States and be able to work during normal business hours on Monday-Friday.
