Acentra is looking for a Software Developer - .NET and ReactJS to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The role of the Software Developer is to assist in providing technical and operational support to projects and programs. This role involves working under direct supervision to maintain, adapt and update existing systems to meet user requirements and to enhance program efficiency. Acentra Health supports a high-volume healthcare data system that is accessed through multiple web portals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, adapt, and update existing systems to meet user requirements and to enhance program efficiency. Research and document user requirements and system specifications
  • Design and develop program logic addressing specific programming needs. Translates business requirements and functional specifications into detailed system and program design specifications. Assumes responsibility for program design activities including definition of data and error message arrangements
  • Modifies and documents new and existing program code to correct errors or to enhance a program's capabilities. Creates/troubleshoots program code for the existing applications using Acentra Health selected software development tools
  • Prepare lifecycle documentation for newly created and existing software programs including changes that reflect new user requirements and error corrections/bugs discovered after the testing phase. Prepare reports on the status, operation, and maintenance of system software for use by computer equipment suppliers, systems designers, other programmers, and computer operators
  • Test programs, new and existing, to ensure they perform as expected. Helps develop, document, and implement system designs, codes, and testing standards. Analyzes proposed changes at a system level and recommends designs and solutions that minimize impact to interfacing systems while maximizing code re-usability and maintaining business value
  • Works in coordination with other software engineers on larger projects

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in public, private or hybrid cloud migration such as AWS or Azure
  • 3+ years of strong experience with ReactJS with Typescript
  • Strong experience developing with C# .NET 4.8 and higher technologies
  • Strong experience in relational database concepts and experience in T-SQL
  • Experience in HTTP, ASP.NET, MVC.NET, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Web API, JWT, OAuth2, JSON, REST, SOAP
  • Experience in Entity Framework 6 through EF Core
  • Experience using the most recent versions of Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, TFS/Azure DevOps
  • Ability to create coded unit tests
  • Experience in the following technologies are a plus: PHP, Docker and Bamboo

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience in performing all functions of computer programming, using standard design and programming techniques; developing of .NET applications preferred
