Full Job Description

Position: National Sales Director – FS USA                                       Reports to:  VP, Sales      

We are looking for a National Sales Director – FS USA to join our Sales team! Our National Sales Director will be responsible for all sales activities in the USA for the Food Service channel, including management of broker, distributor and retail relationships.

Opportunities

In this role, you will get a chance to further develop and improve the organization from a sales standpoint with your high level of expertise and advanced industry experience! You may frequently travel to meet with potential clients, brokers, distributors, and more. You will have the opportunity to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for all Silver Hills to help maintain or establish a growing base of repeat and profitable customers in the US!

  • You have excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite, MacOS, and more
  • You have a strong sales background and knowledge of the CPG (preferably food) industry
  • You have a good understanding of various sales systems and tools


Experience

  • You have a Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or a related field
  • You have 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • You have experience building high functioning and successful teams
  • Experience in the CPG, Food Service, and Baking Industry, preferably gluten-free bakery items

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree or another advanced degree

things you will do…

  • Oversee US Food Service distributor, broker, and sales relationships and ensure stellar communication
  • Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to sell products into the  Food Service channel
  • Recommend sales resources for the development and additional brand awareness for the Food Service channel
  • Work with the VP of Sales to identify trends and recommend new products
  • Work with R&D and internal cross functional teams on private label opportunities within Food Service
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to develop comprehensive annual sales strategies
  • Support sales data analysis and related activities to help drive growth
  • Become a brand ambassador by representing all our brands at assigned trade shows
  • Identify and prospect new national chain accounts and manage relationships with existing national accounts
  • Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
